About the Awful Commute Wiki
I've set up this wiki as a place where people can chronicle their commuting stories from hell, or provide links to their own blogs or sites where they've already shared the stories.

Bryan,
Great idea! An observation and a suggestion.
Observation:
About three years above, I thought about moving to Lowell, MA but decided to stay in Cambridge because I could walk to so many important places in my life. My understanding is that http://walkscore.com/about.shtml has been set-up to help potential homebuyers find "walkable communities."
Not everyone has that luxury, hence need for a decision making tool that helps homebuyers access communities and specific listings based on their individual commutes.
Do you know if such a tool exists already? If not, why limit your wiki to a single snow storm?
-----
If you do want to focus on winter commutes, I think it would be fun to ask readers (who are old enough) to contribute memories of the Blizzard of '78. Maybe you'll find a few who can offer first person accounts of their commutes yesterday, and 30 years ago?
Wonder if anyone is already doing anything to commemorate the 30th anniversary next year? I lived in Montreal at the time of the storm, but was amazed by the size of the snow drifts when I visited two weeks later.
Nothing like today's quick meltdown.

PS. Thanks for post yesterday re: Twitter Posses. Did you see my blog post: Will homebuyers create their own "Twitter posses"?
